Recent Training Event:
The staff at NDC recently visited Patti's All-American Gymnastics & Dance Studio in Dyer, IN. We met with owner Patti Komara who owns one of the largest gyms in the USA since 1969. She is on the USA Gymnastics Committee which is the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. Patti co-authored KAT Preschool Gymnastics Certification Program which is a certification program used in nearly every gymnastics gym across the US. Patti is a recipient of multiple awards including: USA Gymnastics Business Leader of the Year, was given the National Service Award by USA Gymnastics.
Our staff spent time with Patti and her staff during tumbling and classroom training. Learning new spotting skills, and tumbling techniques. There was also emphasis on classroom planning and discipline. And got great ideas on fun lesson plans and tumbling games for younger students.
